Description

Special linear temperature sensor for vehicle and lithium battery is a two-core high performance fire detector for vehicle, it can detect temperature along the entire length of the temperature sensing wire, is characterized by strong adaptability and high cost performance.

It is specially designed for fire temperature detection in vehicle engine compartment, battery compartment, passenger compartment, battery pack and other potential fire hazard parts, and will be applied in the above fire-prone areas. It is adapted to the vehicle environment with excellent wear and vibration resistance. All-weather unmanned automatic fire monitoring can be realized by connecting with the control equipment for key parts of vehicle and lithium battery.

Structure

Two types will be provided for choosing.  

Terminal Type

This type is composed of three parts: temperature sensor unit, terminal sealer, wire sealer. The product is shown as below:

• Temperature sensor unit: linear temperature sensor, the core component of sensor;

• Terminal sealer: seal inside the terminal resistance board which is connected to the temperature sensor unit, waterproof and moisture-proof.

• Wire sealer: connect temperature sensor unit to flexible wire and then seal it, the wire from wire sealer is convenient for connecting to other equipment.

Connection Type

This type is composed of two parts: temperature sensor unit, two wire sealers. The product is shown as below:

Two metal galvanized steel wires are twisted together after wrapping the NTC temperature sensitive material, the outer jacket is corrosion-proof and wear-proof.

Working Principle

The temperature sensor unit has high resistance characteristics. The insulating layer of the two cores is made of a special fusible NTC material, when the temperature raises and reaches the specific fixed temperature, NTC material will soften and fuse, the contact of conductors will cause a short circuit, this short circuit will trigger the alarm directly.
